Huseyn Huseynov: Azerbaijan's SDG progress and multilateral experience presented to global audience at UN

Azerbaijan's achievements in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its experience in multilateral cooperation were showcased to the international community during the UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.

Speaking to Report's US bureau from the UN Headquarters in New York, Huseyn Huseynov, Secretary of the National Coordination Council on Sustainable Development and Head of the Sustainable Development and Social Policy Department at Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy, highlighted key aspects of Azerbaijan's progress.

Huseynov noted that special attention was drawn to the World Health Organization’s recent announcement declaring Azerbaijan malaria-free, as well as the country’s economic reforms in recent years. He also underscored Azerbaijan’s efforts toward economic diversification and the advancement of decent employment initiatives.
