High level EU delegates will pay a visit to Baku

Baku. 27 January. REPORT.AZ/ High level delegation of European Union will arrive in Baku on January 30.

Report informs, Head of Division for bilateral relations with the Eastern Partnership countries Dirk Schuebel told reporters.

According to him, Christian Danielsson, Director General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations in the European Commission and Thomas Mayr-Harting, Managing Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia in the European External Action Service will visit Baku.

D.Schuebel told that they will present in Baku draft project “Partnership priorities”. He noted that they were developed based on European neighborhood policy overview published in November 2015.

D. Schuebel told such documents have been developed for countries, who haven’t signed association agreement with EU. According to him, the document embraces priorities of cooperation between EU and Azerbaijan for next three years and includes Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and number of other issues.
