Heydar Aliyev's memory honored in Izmir

The memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev was honored at Aliaga Square in Izmir.
According to Report's Turkish bureau, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Türkiye Rashad Mammadov spoke at the ceremony and noted that joint transnational projects create new opportunities for the entire region.
The event was also attended by Izmir Mayor Cemil Tugay, Izmir Deputy Governor Kamil Köten, SOCAR Türkiye CEO Elchin Ibadov, and others.
After the speeches, busts of national leader Heydar Aliyev and Türkiye's founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk were unveiled.
The event concluded with a photo exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Heydar Aliyev.
