Türkiye's election chief hails parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan as transparent and orderly

Azerbaijan is conducting its parliamentary elections in an orderly and transparent manner, according to Ahmet Yener, Chairman of Türkiye's Supreme Election Council (SEC), who is observing the snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, Report informs via Anadolu Agency.

Yener stated, "The people of Azerbaijan are demonstrating their commitment to the elections. This is an important day for Azerbaijan's democracy and history. These are the first parliamentary elections in the country since the 44-day Second Karabakh War."

The chairman expressed his wishes for the elections to be beneficial for the people of Azerbaijan and the Turkic world.

He noted, "The level of participation is quite good. It is pleasing to see this. Our conversations with the polling station workers revealed that they had received training before the elections. We also saw that the instructions were compiled into a booklet. The environment is very good."
