Guadeloupe and BIG ink memo on cooperation

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Baku Initiative Group (BIG) and MIR Guadeloupe within the framework of the international thematic conference titled "Towards the decolonization of Guadeloupe! Challenges and perspectives", dedicated to the island of Guadeloupe, which is under French colonial rule.
Report informs that the Memorandum was signed by Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, and José Martin Jean-Pierre, President of MIR Guadeloupe, Secretary of the International Decolonization Front.
The memorandum envisages close cooperation between parties, NGOs, and independence movements not only in the political sphere, but also in the environmental, cultural and other fields.

A memorandum of cooperation will be signed between Guadeloupe and the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), Abbas Abbasov, executive director of the Baku Initiative Group, said in a statement to journalists at the international conference titled "Towards the Decolonization of Guadeloupe! Challenges and Perspectives" held in Baku, Report informs.
Abasov noted that cooperation with Guadeloupe covers not only the political sphere, but also the environment and other areas.
Speaking about reports on French colonialism, Abbasov emphasized that the BIG regularly prepares reports and submits them to the UN.
