Greek MFA Secretary General: Bilateral relations with Azerbaijan have great potential

Azerbaijan and Greece share common views and bilateral relations have great potential, the Secretary General of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dimitris Skalkos, said today at an official reception held in Baku on the occasion of the National Day of Greece, Report informs.

Dimitris Skalkos noted that Greece is committed to the principle of resolving disputes through dialogue, friendship, good neighborly relations and international law:

"These principles and values are our guide in the world today and tomorrow. It is these principles and values that Greece defends as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2025-2026. There are numerous collaborations awaiting us in the future. At this point, I would like to express my deep gratitude especially to Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, as well as to the President's aide Hikmat Hajiyev for excellent cooperation with our embassy."
