GlobE Network reps visit Azerbaijan ahead of major events

Representatives of the United Nations Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network) visited Azerbaijan in preparation for the organization's Sixth Plenary Meeting and 10th Session of the Governance Committee, scheduled for May 19–23, 2025, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office.

The delegation, led by GlobE Network Coordinator Rositsa Zaharieva, was received by Nazim Rajabov, Deputy Prosecutor General and Head of the Anti-Corruption Directorate under the Prosecutor General.

During the meeting, Rajabov provided an in-depth overview of Azerbaijan's legal and institutional reforms in the fight against corruption.

Coordinator Rositsa Zaharieva expressed her admiration for the visit and commended the Azerbaijan Prosecutor's Office for its organizational and preparatory efforts.

As part of the visit, the delegation also toured the venues for the upcoming events and reviewed other resources on-site.
