The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has expressed its condolences to Azerbaijan over the crash of an AZAL (Azerbaijan Airlines) passenger plane near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, the Georgian MFA wrote on X, Report informs.
“We are deeply saddened to hear about the crash of Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft, which claimed dozens of lives.
We would like to express our sincere condolences and profound sympathy to the government and the people of friendly Azerbaijan. At this difficult time, Georgia stands in solidarity with strategic partner Azerbaijan. We wish those injured a speedy recovery,” reads the post.
An AZAL aircraft operating the Baku-Grozny flight crashed near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan. There were 67 people on board, including crew members.
