Ganja, Shymkent to broaden cooperation

Azerbaijan's second-largest city, Ganja, and Kazakhstan's Shymkent city are expected to sign a document on cooperation, Bahadir Narymbetov, representative of the Shymkent city delegation and secretary of the city's representative assembly, said at an event in Baku dedicated to the tourism potential of Kazakhstan, Report informs.
According to Narymbetov, work is currently underway to prepare the document.
"Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are fraternal countries. Our peoples are connected by a shared history, culture and religion," Narymbetov said, adding that the countries' presidents also contribute to the development of bilateral relations.
