Foreign Secretary at Maldives Foreign Ministry thanks Azerbaijan

Maldives felt the effects of the pandemic in the tourism sector, but managed to fully restore this sector, Foreign Secretary at Maldives Foreign Ministry Ahmed Latif said at a plenary meeting within the framework of the Summit-level meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement Contact Group in Baku.

According to Report, he said the tourism sector in Maldives was brought to the pre-pandemic level.

Ahmed Latif thanked Azerbaijan for allocating $1 million to support the post-pandemic reconstruction of Africa and small island developing states.
