FM: Azerbaijan exports gas to 12 countries, including 10 in Europe

Azerbaijan exports gas to 12 countries, 10 of which are European nations, according to Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Report informs.

Speaking at a joint press conference with the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, Bayramov highlighted energy as a burgeoning area of cooperation.

"Currently, a joint project is being implemented between Azerbaijan, Hungary, Romania, and Georgia in this regard. Other European countries have also expressed interest in joining the initiative," Bayramov stated.

He further noted that the delivery of green energy produced in Central Asia to Europe through Azerbaijan could also form part of this collaboration. Practical steps are underway to advance this direction.
