Expert: Azerbaijan-Russia cooperation reached new level

“The declaration on allied cooperation will give a new vision to the partnership between Azerbaijan and Russia,” military expert, editor-in-chief of the Natsionalnaya Oborona magazine Igor Korotchenko told Report, commenting on the signing of the document after the meeting of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev with Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 22.

The Russian expert noted that the document on allied cooperation means that the Azerbaijani-Russian relations have reached a new level.

“Azerbaijan and Russia are strategic partners today. Our relations in politics, economy and culture are developing successfully. We see Azerbaijan as a powerful and authoritative state headed by Ilham Aliyev, a strong politician of international importance,” Korotchenko said.
