Event on Bashlibel massacre to be held in Germany

In October of this year, an event on increasing awareness on the Bashlibel massacre is planned to be held in Germany, Chairman of the Regional Human Rights and Media Center Public Union, Khalid Kazimov, said in the presentation of the report on the Bashlibel massacre, Report informs.

Commenting on the issue, Farid Shafiyev, the Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), noted that the events planned to be organized in Spain and Latvia in order to inform about the First Karabakh War were cancelled: “Because the other side noted that the Armenians could commit some kind of provocation. They do not ensure security, so it is risky to hold the event. For the event to be effective, partners are needed.”

Shafiyev emphasized that the best way to make the international community aware of the report is to prepare and distribute the electronic version of the book.
