Erdogan: Zangilan airport - strategic goal in strengthening region's connection with world

Zangilan Airport is a strategic goal in strengthening the region's connection with the world, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told journalists, according to Report.

The Turkish leader spoke about his October 20 visit to Azerbaijan: "Our business trip to Zangilan and Jabrayil regions has ended successfully. We opened the Zangilan International Airport together with my dear brother Ilham Aliyev. Zangilan airport is important not only for Azerbaijan, but for the entire region. It is a strategic goal from the point of view of strengthening the reestablishment of the region's connection with the world. Hopefully, we will reinforce these steps with the commissioning of Lachin International Airport."
