Türkiye is actively working to ensure lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus, Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stated at the official opening of the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Report informs.
Erdogan highlighted that Ankara also aims to maintain peace and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean and Aegean regions:
He stated, "We are fostering a positive atmosphere with Greece and closely monitoring developments in the Balkans while strengthening cooperation with regional countries."
The Turkish president also stressed the growing importance of Central Asia in Türkiye's foreign policy.
"The Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which has taken important steps toward integration in recent years through our country's intensive efforts, makes very significant contributions to strengthening our cooperation. We have recently increased our efforts for the recognition of the sovereignty and international status of the Turkish people of Northern Cyprus," Erdogan stated.
