Erdogan: Peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia - important step for normalization

Determining the borders between Azerbaijan and Armenia and signing a peace agreement will be an important step for the normalization, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told journalists, Report informs.
According to him, the common interests of Azerbaijan and Turkiye in the South Caucasus have to do with peace and stability:
"After many years, opportunities have arisen to ensure permanent peace in the region. We expect Armenia to assess this historic opportunity. The normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations will also affect Turkiye-Armenia relations. We insist on continuing our cooperation with brother Azerbaijan on the principle of 'one nation, two states'."
