Envoy: Food industry accounts for 35% of Italy-Azerbaijan trade

The share of food products in the total trade turnover between Italy and Azerbaijan today exceeds 35%, Italian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Claudio Taffuri said at a press conference dedicated to the planned events of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) for spring-summer 2024, Report informs.

According to the ambassador, this indicator testifies to the effective steps taken by the Italian Embassy and the ITA in Azerbaijan.

“For Italians, the food industry is also an opportunity to showcase their rich culture. We hold events in different parts of the world to introduce people to our culture. The culture of Azerbaijan and Italy has many similarities, and we want our cooperation in the food industry to become increasingly stronger,” said the ambassador.
