Elnur Mammadov highlights Azerbaijan's commitment to Islamic solidarity at OIC meeting

Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov attended and delivered a speech at the annual coordination meeting of foreign ministers of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan wrote on X, Report informs.

“Azerbaijan's commitment to the Islamic solidarity, as well as cooperation with OIC was underlined.

Importance of urgent settlement of Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which is one of the main sources of concern for the Islamic world, based on the norms and principles of the international law, relevant UNSC resolutions, as well as Azerbaijan's consistent humanitarian support to Palestinian people were noted.

Detailed information regarding Azerbaijan's regional reconstruction and peace initiatives were also brought to the attention,” reads the post.
