Elchin Amirbayov: Reintegration of Karabakh Armenians - internal matter of Azerbaijan

The dialogue between the central government of Azerbaijan and the Armenian population of Karabakh, their reintegration into our society is purely an internal matter of our country and these issues have nothing to do with Armenia, the Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments, Elchin Amirbayov, said in an interview to Sky News Arabia TV channel, Report informs.

He stressed that Azerbaijan and Armenia are conducting peace negotiations based on the principle of mutual respect for each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to him, the contacts with representatives of the Armenian population of Karabakh will contribute to the conclusion of a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan.

Amirbayov said that the Azerbaijani side has already sent the draft agreement to Armenia.
