Director of Qatar Media Center: Information about Islam should also be uploaded to AI systems

Artificial intelligence (AI) provides great opportunities for people to increase awareness, but its system must be provided with accurate information, Director of the Qatar Media Center, Iman Al-Kaabi, said at the international conference themed "Islamophobia in Focus: Unveiling Bias, Shattering Stigmas" in Baku, Report informs.

She noted that due to false information, AI can contribute to the spread of Islamophobic information and the deepening of biased opinions:

"As a result, harsh opinions about Muslims are formed. Muslims are often represented negatively in the media, shown as carriers of backward thinking, and through AI, this false information reaches a wider audience. To prevent this, comprehensive information about Islam should also be uploaded to AI systems. In that case, bias would be eliminated and hate rhetoric against Muslims would decrease," Al-Kaabi added.
