Director-general of Chamber of Commerce and Industry: Azerbaijan important partner for Georgia

In the context of developing relations with Azerbaijan, Georgia's ruling party Georgian Dream has done a lot of work. Azerbaijan is an extremely important partner for Georgia, and Georgia is for Azerbaijan, Director-General of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Professor David Aptsiauri, told Report.

"Recently, we have observed dynamics in the development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia. This was facilitated by large projects initiated years ago. The interaction of our countries has geopolitical and geoeconomic significance. The foundation for this was laid back in the 90s. Despite all the difficulties, we were able to implement the first major international regional projects," said Aptsiauri.

He noted that the friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia should serve as an example for other countries.

"Georgia is making maximum efforts to increase Azerbaijani investments in the country," David Aptsiauri added.
