Cultural events to be held in Azerbaijan, Latvia on occasion of 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations

This year, cultural events will be held in Azerbaijan and Latvia on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Latvia said on X, Report informs.

According to the information, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Latvia Elnur Sultanov met with Minister of Culture of Latvia Agnese Logina.

Within the framework of the meeting, Sultanov informed the other party about Azerbaijan's state policy in the field of culture, organized international events, as well as cultural projects implemented by the embassy in Latvia:

“He noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia have a rich history and touched on the activities of the Latvian community that lived in Azerbaijan in the early 20th century. During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the active cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia in the field of culture, the importance of the cultural events to be held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between our countries this year was emphasized. It was noted that there is good potential for further expansion of relations.”
