Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights kicks off her South Caucasus visit

The Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Dunja Mijatović, has embarked on her visit to the South Caucasus.
According to Report, as part of the trip which will last until October 23, Mijatović will visit Armenia and Azerbaijan, including the Karabakh region of the country.
The aim of the visit is to study the human rights situation.
"The Commissioner will hold meetings with State officials, representatives of international organisations and civil society. A statement will be published at the end of the visit," the Council of Europe said in a post on its official website.
