Cooperation with UN is important for Azerbaijan, says foreign minister

It is important for Azerbaijan to cooperate with the UN and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, and celebrate 30 years of partnership in Shusha, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, Report informs.

The minister stressed that this year Azerbaijan and the UN are celebrating the 30th anniversary of establishing cooperation.

“And the fact that one of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary is taking place today in Shusha is very important and significant. It is important for us to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and to cooperate with the UN,” Bayramov said.

According to the foreign minister, today's talks will further strengthen cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UN.

An event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the partnership between Azerbaijan and the UN is being held in Shusha today.
