Cevdet Yilmaz congratulates Ilham Aliyev on re-election as President of Azerbaijan

Vice President of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz published congratulations on the snap presidential elections in Azerbaijan and the re-election of Ilham Aliyev as head of state, Report informs.

“Congratulations to Ilham Aliyev, who, with the support of the people of Azerbaijan, was re-elected president in the country’s elections. Türkiye and Azerbaijan will continue to move forward more decisively under the slogan ‘One people, two states,’” Yilmaz said in a post on X.

Snap presidential elections were held in Azerbaijan on February 7. With 54.47 percent of the ballots counted, incumbent head of state Ilham Aliyev is leading the presidential election with 92.1 percent of the vote.///
