Cahit Bagci: Azerbaijan and Türkiye closely cooperating in issues of foreign policy

Azerbaijan and Türkiye are closely cooperating in the issues of foreign policy, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci told an event on the 500th anniversary of the creation of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, according to Report.

The ambassador noted that Türkiye attaches great attention to foreign policy and the diplomatic offices of the country are operating all over the world.

He said Azerbaijan and Türkiye are also closely cooperating in the issues of foreign policy: "President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting not attended by Türkiye that 'Though Türkiye is not here, we are here'. And now Türkiye repeats these words: 'Though Azerbaijan is not here, we are here.'"
