Belarus delegation pays tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani martyrs

Natalya Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, and her accompanied delegation visited the Alley of Honors and the Alley of Martyrs in Baku on Tuesday, Report informs.

The delegation first paid tribute to National Leader, architect and founder of the modern and independent Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev, and laid a wreath at his grave.

They also placed flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

The delegation then commemorated the Azerbaijani heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity. They also laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
