Beijing University lecturer: Azerbaijani language has radically changed my life

Yuhuan Tang, a teacher of the Azerbaijani language at Beijing International Studies University, shared her inspiring story of falling in love with Azerbaijani culture and language.

In a conversation with a Report correspondent in Beijing, she emphasized that the Azerbaijani language has radically changed her life and become her true calling.

Yuhuan Tang began studying Azerbaijani seven years ago as a student at Beijing International Studies University. After graduation, she decided to continue her education at Khazar University in Baku, where she earned a master's degree in economics and Azerbaijani language.

"The two years I spent on the shores of the Caspian Sea are among the warmest memories of my life," said Yuhuan Tang. "Not only did I master the Azerbaijani language, but I also made many friends who became like a second family to me."

For the past year, Yuhuan Tang has been working as an Azerbaijani language lecturer at Beijing International Studies University. She noted that she is happy to dedicate her life to teaching and promoting the Azerbaijani language and culture in China.
