The Baku Initiative Group (BIG) has announced a scholarship program for students from colonized territories studying in Azerbaijani universities.

According to Report, Abbas Abbasov, the Executive Director of BIG, unveiled this landmark decision at the first Congress of Independence Movements from French-colonized territories.

"It is with great pride that I announce our organization will be offering scholarships to young people seeking education in Azerbaijan starting this year," Abbasov declared.

The Baku Initiative Group, established on July 6, 2023, emerged from the conference "Towards the Complete Elimination of Colonialism" held in Baku.
