Bahrain supports Azerbaijan's chairmanship of Non-Aligned Movement parliamentary network

Bahrain has expressed its support for Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, Report informs, citing the press service of the Milli Majlis (Parliament of Azerbaijan).

During a meeting between the Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Parliament, Sahiba Gafarova, and the Chairman of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, both sides expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation within international parliamentary structures, including the Non-Aligned Movement, the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.

The importance of the upcoming fourth conference of the Parliamentary Network in Tashkent was also emphasized, and it was noted that there is strong potential for further development of legislative cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
