Bahar Muradova: Middle Corridor key to sustainable development in OTS countries

The Middle Corridor serves as a guarantor of the sustainable development goals faced by the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, said at the event titled "Middle Corridor 360°: From Geopolitics to Digital Transformation, from Family to Green Development" held in Baku.

Report quotes her as saying the Middle Corridor is important for member states not only as a transportation route but also as a factor of peace and stability:

"It holds profound geopolitical and environmental significance. The Middle Corridor also serves as a tool for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals relevant to all of us. Family policy is a cornerstone of national strategies. The more actively women participate in education, the economy, and digital transformation, the more dynamically society develops. In this context, OTS countries can join forces in technological advancement and the use of cutting-edge technologies," she said.
