Fatih Birol awarded with Order of Dostlug

The Executive Director of the International Energy Agency, Fatih Birol, has been awarded the Order of Dostlug (Friendship) following a relevant order signed by Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.
According to the decree, Fatih Birol was awarded for his support and effective cooperation in Azerbaijan's presidency of COP29 and for promoting initiatives on global climate change.
