Azerbaijani PM meets Speaker of Georgian Parliament in Tbilisi

Ali Asadov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who is on an official visit to Tbilisi, met with the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, on December 15, Report informs, citing the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia are successfully developing in various fields, including political, trade-economic, energy, transport, and cultural-humanitarian directions.

The vital role of parliaments in the development of Azerbaijan - Georgia relations was noted, and satisfaction was expressed with the close contacts of friendship groups in the legislative bodies of both countries.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the perspectives of bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest.

The Azerbaijani prime minister wrote his heartfelt words in the book of Honorary Guests of the Georgian Parliament.
