Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has shared a post in connection with the fourth anniversary of the start of the Patriotic War, Report informs.
"Today marks four years since the beginning of the 44-day Patriotic War, which resulted in the restoration of our country's territorial integrity. Thanks to the determination and will of the valiant Azerbaijani army under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the almost 30-year occupation of our lands, the violation of the fundamental rights of our citizens and the norms of international law were ended. On the Remembrance Day, September 27, we honor with deep respect and gratitude the memory of our martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country, giving us this historic victory," the ministry wrote on X.
