Azerbaijani Deputy FM calls on UNESCO to send fact-finding mission to Armenia

Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov met with Audrey Azoulay, the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), within the framework of the 42nd session of the General Conference held in Paris, France, Report informs.
The meeting discussed Azerbaijan-UNESCO relations, especially relations in the field of intercultural dialogue and protection of cultural heritage.
Mammadov briefed the Director-General about the destruction of the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan by Armenia in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan and in the current territory of Armenia.
He called on UNESCO to send a fact-finding mission to Armenia to assess the current state of Azerbaijan's cultural heritage.
