Azerbaijani, Czech diplomats mull situation in Syria

Azerbaijan's Chargé d'Affaires in Syria Elnur Shahhuseynov has discussed the situation in Syria with Czech Ambassador Vitezslav Pivonka, Report informs referring to the press service of the diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan in Damascus.

"An interesting meeting, during which an exchange of views on the processes in the renewed Syria took place. I express my gratitude to Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Damascus Vitezslav Pivonka," the statement says.

The Czech diplomat was the ambassador of the Czech Republic to Baku in 2014-2018. From 2018 to 2024, he headed the diplomatic mission in Russia.
