Azerbaijani and Uzbek FMs discuss regional issues in phone call

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov discussed regional developments during a phone conversation, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani MFA.
The ministers reviewed matters stemming from the strategic partnership between the two countries. They also discussed the implementation of agreements reached during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan on July 2, covering both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The sides further exchanged views on preparations for upcoming international events involving both countries and addressed other issues of mutual interest.
