Azerbaijani Ambassador to Hungary receives FIDE vice president

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary Tahir Taghizada met with the President of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation and FIDE Vice President Mahir Mammadov. The meeting took place at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Budapest.

According to Report, in a post on social media platform X, the diplomat expressed his honor in welcoming the members of the Azerbaijani chess team, including talented players, coaching staff, and referees. He particularly mentioned his dear friend, Mahir Mammadov, who leads the delegation in his capacity as both the President of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation and the Vice President of FIDE.
