Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan mull regional security

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his Uzbek counterpart Bakhtiyor Saidov.
Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry, that during the telephone conversation, the sides discussed issues related to the tense situation in the region caused by the Israeli-Iranian conflict, and the allied relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. In particular, they discussed preparations for the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which is scheduled for June 21-22 in Istanbul.
