Azerbaijan urges int’l community to support demining of its territories

Azerbaijan has called on the international community to provide political, financial and technical support for the complete demining of its territories, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Malaysia Irfan Davudov said, Report informs via Malaysian media.
Speaking at an international seminar titled "Towards a Mine-Free World," Davudov highighted the importance of global cooperation to achieve this goal within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The diplomat paid special attention to Malaysia's role, saying that he hoped for its support.
"We expect the Malaysian government to make a positive decision. Any assistance will be highly appreciated," Davudov noted.
