Azerbaijan, Türkiye mull escalation in Middle East

The Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, Jeyhun Bayramov and Hakan Fidan, have discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and the situation in the Middle East.
Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry, that the ministers also discussed preparations for the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) scheduled for June 21-22 in Istanbul.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has a made a phone call to his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.
Report informs via Turkish media that the parties discussed the escalation of tensions in the Middle East and current regional issues.
