Azerbaijan submits resolution to UN on protecting rights of landmine victims

On April 1, in Geneva, as part of the UN Human Rights Council, Azerbaijan put forward an initiative and became the main co-author of the draft special resolution aimed at protecting the rights of landmine victims, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
Information about the draft resolution was presented within the high-level event on landmines, human rights, and environmental degradation - effective assistance to landmine victims, held as part of the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council.
