Azerbaijan sends diplomatic note to Eritrea over seizure of 3 ships and crews

Azerbaijan has sent a diplomatic note to Eritrea regarding the seizure of three ships and their crews, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan said in response to Report's inquiry.
The ministry emphasized that legal justification stating that entry into Eritrean territorial waters does not contradict international law norms was conveyed to the other side through Azerbaijan's embassies in Ethiopia and Russia via appropriate diplomatic notes for necessary measures to be taken.
Additionally, relevant meetings were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Eritrea and at Eritrean embassies in Türkiye and Moscow.
