Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Asadov meets with Director General of Saudi Arabian Border Service

On January 23, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Chief of the Directorate General of the Border Guard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Major-General Mohammed bin Abdullah Hamdan Al-Shehri.

Report has learned from the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers that the sides emphasized the successful development of friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia in all areas.

They also noted the significance of the 7th meeting of the Joint Commission for Cooperation in the field of economy, trade, investment, technology, culture, sports and youth between the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held in Baku at the end of last year, and the Azerbaijani-Saudi investment forum.

The meeting also focused on the prospects for further development of cooperation between the border structures of Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia.

The meeting was attended by the head of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elchin Guliyev.
