Azerbaijan's foreign minister receives copies of credentials from China's new ambassador

On April 15, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Lu Mei, the newly appointed Ambassador of China to Azerbaijan.

According to Report, the ambassador presented copies of her credentials during the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Minister Bayramov congratulated Ambassador Lu Mei on her appointment and wished her success in her diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.

The two officials discussed prospects for deepening the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and China, covering political, economic, trade, and humanitarian areas, as well as key regional and international issues.

Special emphasis was placed on implementing the provisions of the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership signed last year, and on the importance of maintaining high-level dialogue.

They also addressed cooperation within international organizations, including the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Ambassador Lu Mei expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and affirmed her commitment to strengthening the strategic ties between the two nations.
