Azerbaijan's embassy in Iran resumes operations

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran has resumed its activities, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry.
On the morning of January 27, 2023, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran was attacked by an armed man. The attacker broke through the security post of the diplomatic mission and killed the head of security with a Kalashnikov rifle. Two more embassy security officers were wounded while repelling the attack. After this incident, the diplomatic mission halted operations in Tehran.
