Productive meetings were held as part of the 3rd International Conference dedicated to combating Islamophobia, Report informs.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Center for the Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) of Azerbaijan and the Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan. The memorandum envisions the organization of joint events and conducting research.
During the discussions, Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Management Board of AIR Center, provided information about Azerbaijan's approaches regarding the Middle East and emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between think tanks.
He also noted the necessity of taking practical steps for the development of cooperation.
The Director General of the Center for Strategic Studies, Hasan Al Momani, in turn, expressed Jordan's interest in deepening cooperation with Azerbaijan. He noted that intensifying relations, especially on academic and intellectual levels, will make a constructive contribution to the development of cooperation.
Additionally, a meeting was held between the AIR Center delegation and Amine El Kabbaj, Director of Communications, Analysis and Partnerships at Morocco's Amadeus Institute. Both sides emphasized the importance of the Memorandum of Understanding signed last year and stressed the importance of expanding practical cooperation, including joint initiatives and other academic activities.
Also, during a meeting with Ibrahim Ethem Atnur, Dean of the Land Forces School of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, various aspects of Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations and prospects for cooperation between scientific institutions were discussed.
