Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan strengthen co-op in social insurance

Azerbaijan's State Social Protection Fund and the State Social Insurance Fund of Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of state social insurance, Report informs.

The memorandum was signed in Astana within the 14th Kazakhstan International Conference and Exhibition on Occupational Health and Industrial Safety KIOSH 2026.

The document is aimed at developing cooperation between the relevant structures of the two countries and exchanging practical experience in the field of social security.

According to Marat Zhanybekov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the State Social Insurance Fund of Kazakhstan, the memorandum provides for systematic bilateral cooperation, including regular exchange of experience between government bodies, as well as coordination of work at international platforms.
