Baku to host Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan IGC meeting in July

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan will hold another meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on economic cooperation in July, Report informs referring to Kazakh media.
"We are confident that the upcoming IGC meeting in Baku in July will further deepen our cooperation in various economic sectors," the media quotes a representative of the Kazakh government as saying.
He noted that trade turnover between the two countries exceeded $500 million in 2024. He also emphasized the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) - in 2024, cargo transportation volumes along it increased by 62%, reaching 4.5 million tons.
The previous IGC meeting was held in Astana in March 2024.
