Azerbaijan-Brazil Intergovernmental Joint Working Group to convene for first meeting in 2025

The first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Brazil Intergovernmental Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment is scheduled to be held in 2025, Manuel Adalberto Carlos Montenegro Lopes da Cruz, the Brazilian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, told Report.

The ambassador expressed optimism about holding the meeting this year, stating: "We hope to hold the first meeting of the Working Group this year. This depends on the decision, but our common goal is to meet this year."

The diplomat also highlighted that there is cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brazil in the field of agriculture: "We have a Memorandum of Understanding signed in September last year. This document is very comprehensive. It covers many areas from economic cooperation and investment to research and education in agriculture."
